Summary history of Woolley

Woolley is five and a half miles north-east from Kimbolton, its church, dedicated to St. Mary, has a western tower crowned with a handsome cupola. Woolley, originally a parish in its own right, was combined with Barham in the local government reorganisation in 1965. The 12th Century church was demolished in 1962 due to dwindling population and the deteriorating fabric of the building.
