How to add an event.

Firstly, events can only be entered into our systems that are being run by registered organisations and held at registered venues. This is to ensure that we display all the information needed by the public to know what is going on and where.

Registering an Organisation

If your organisation is not registered then go to the relevant website where you are based and follow the instructions to make an application for registration:

Registering a venue

If the venue that you wish to hold your event is not registered you will need to ask the owner or manager of the location to submit an application for their organisation in exactly the same manner as you did for yours. As far as we are aware the major public venues in Huntingdonshire are already entered in our systems.

Entering a new event

Do not send us event information by email unless we specifically request that you do so. There are two ways that you may enter events into our system

Public Application

Anyone may submit an event application for venues in the respective community directly from the Home Pages or from the Event Menu Pages of our local websites HOWEVER these events will not appear immediately as we need to scrutinise them first. Depending upon how busy we are this may take a few days to accomplish.

Secure Application

The registered owner or manager of a venue may submit a limited number of events, depending upon their membership grade, directly from within their secure control panel. Events entered in such a manner appear immediately throughout our Huntingdonshire websites although we maintain the right to make amendments as we see fit.

Within the secure area managers may also add information to or amend previously entered information at any time prior to the completion of the event.
