Shakespeare at The George 2017 summer Shakespeare production will be PERICLES Directed by Richard Brown.
Tuesday 4th July will be a captioned performance by Stagetext.
Shakespeare at The George is a charitable Trust, formed in 1959. Performances are presented in the open air Jacobean Courtyard of The George Hotel in Huntingdon. The play is like no other written by Shakespeare for its depth of storyline. It is a wonderful story of pure adventure, and perhaps easiest to think of it rather like a Shakespearian version of The 1001 Arabian Nights. A fairy tale that romances its way around the Mediterranean world.
