Manor Farm Moat at Southoe in Huntingdonshire

This is almost circular moat of 300 ft. diameter. Outside the moat, on the south side, is a sunk space, 100 ft. by 40 ft. and 4 ft. 6 in. deep; and at the south-west a circular mound 32 ft. diameter. Some 170 ft. away on the west, and about 70 ft. on the north-west, is a large moat or fosse with a considerable bank, apparently serving as an outer defence on that side; it is very wide at the north-west corner, and has an extension of 220 ft. in length towards the north.
